Skin Needling

 

Also known as Micro Needling, Skin Needling is a treatment which rejuvenates the skin and repairs scars with the use of tiny micro-needles.

 

Skin Needling creates tiny pin-prick holes in the skin which will heal within a day. This encourages the skin to repair and regenerate itself by producing more collagen and elastin – the substances which help to keep our skin flexible and strong. The skin will continue to heal and grow for months after the skin needling aesthetic treatment, resulting in smooth & rejuvenated healthy glowing skin.

Skin needling can also be used to stimulate hair growth which can help to relieve symptoms of weak thinning hair & hair loss, it can also be used to encourage hair growth after having a hair transplant treatment.

Skin Needling can be delivered on its’ own, however, it is more often than not combined with products such as Meso Cocktails, or Skin Boosters, or Polynucleotides, or PRP, IPRF - blood plasma.

Immediately following a Skin Needling aesthetic treatment the skin will be red, skin will feel warm and tighter than usual, this will normally calm and settle within 1 to 2 hours post the treatment, any remaining skin redness usually disappears within 24-48 hours post treatment. If you are going out in the daylight, you must wear a High SPF for a minimum of 2 weeks post treatment. (recommended is SPF 50). It usually takes up to 4-6 weeks until the visible signs of regeneration appear, the process will continue during the following months, giving you the long-lasting improvement and regeneration of the skin.
