Anti-Wrinkle Injection ‘Botox’
Anti-wrinkle injections known as ‘Botox’ provide a safe and effective method for relaxing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
At Susie Thomson Clinic we use all three brands of Botulinum Toxin Type A - Botox, Azzalure & Bocouture.
‘Botox®’ also known as anti-wrinkle injections help combat the unwanted appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This is achieved by the injected Botulinum (‘Botox’) interrupting the signals that make your muscles contract therefore relaxing the muscles. Once the muscles are relaxed, the treated areas look smoother and fresher, giving you a more happy youthful appearance.
The most popular areas that are treated are frown lines, forehead & crow’s feet, these 3 areas are known as the classic 3 areas and are usually/often treated together.
Along side the wrinkle reducing aspect, this treatment can also help correct facial asymmetries and treat areas such as bunny lines, smokers lines & jawlines.
It is a minimally invasive safe treatment meaning that there is very little recovery time. Treatment with ‘Botox’ is temporary and the results are apparent in 2 weeks.
All of our anti-wrinkle injectable treatments (‘Botox’) are performed by Aesthetic Practitioner Susie. If you are a new client to Susie, you will need to attend the clinic for a health check and consultation appointment, this initial consultation will assess whether you are a suitable candidate to go ahead with receiving treatment with ‘Botox’ or not. A further appointment can then be arranged to receive treatment if you are suitable for this treatment.

The classic 3 areas are:
Area 1: refers to the Frown lines or (Glabellar lines) which are vertical lines between the eyebrows.
Area 2: refers to the lines, wrinkles on/across the forehead.
Area 3: refers to the ‘crows feet’ also known as the laughter lines at the outer corners of the eyes.
ADDITIONAL AREAS:
Are areas that can be treated at an additional cost when having any of the classic areas treated.

Bunny Lines - Smoothes lines over the ridge of the nose
Smokers Lines - Smoothes vertical lines above the lip
Gummy Smile - Relaxes the muscles above the upper lip so that when you smile no gums will be visible.
Masseter Muscle - Can help with teeth grinding problems & reduce and relax Jaw clenching, can slim down and soften the jawline.
Brow Lift : can give the brows a lift helping with drooping and heaviness around the eye area.

Platysmal Bands
